My Friend, une autre rencontre. Un musicien, mon ami depuis 45 ans, l’autre homme de Age…
The Organist recrée l’atmosphère d’une vieille église que je visitais quand, soudain, un organiste se mit à y improviser.
The Three Pianists regroupe les musiques que j’aime entendre, du romantique au jazz léger en passant par les déferlements sonores qui me rappellent Dmitri Shostakovich et certaines de ses musiques.
La sagesse est dans l’harmonie, l’égalité d’humeur. Mais pas la vie ni ce que nous traversons. Time Capsule tente de restituer ces émotions. Le résultat est un album hétéroclite aux atmosphères et aux sonorités très diverses.

Watching old pictures is magical. Memory is able to instantly bring alive moments, people, events or atmospheres with their sensations and emotions. Time Capsule is the musical evocation of 12 pictures.

The Organist recreates the atmosphere of an old church I was visiting when suddenly an organist began to improvise.
The Three Pianists brings together the music that I like to hear, from romantic to light jazz, passing through the powerful sounds that remind me of Dmitri Shostakovich and some of his music pieces.
Wisdom is in harmony, evenness of temper. But not life or what we are going through. Time Capsule tries to restore these emotions. The result is a heterogeneous album with very diverse atmospheres and sounds.

Naar oude foto’s kijken is magisch. Het geheugen brengt mensen, gebeurtenissen of sferen onmiddellijk terug met alle sensaties en emoties van die tijd. Time Capsule is de muzikale verbeelding van 12 foto's.
Verschillende titels spreken voor zich. Maar niet allemaal…

My Friend, nog een ontmoeting. Een muzikant, al 45 jaar mijn vriend, de andere man van Age ...
The Organist herschept de sfeer van een oude kerk waar ik op bezoek was toen daar plotseling een organist begon te improviseren.
The Three Pianists laat de muziek horen die ik graag beluister, van romantische tot lichte jazz en ook de luide klankgolven die me aan sommige muziekstukken van Dmitri Shostakovich doen denken.
Wijsheid is in harmonie, gelijkmatigheid van humeur. Maar niet het leven of wat we doormaken. Time Capsule probeert deze emoties te weerspiegelen. Het resultaat is een heterogeen album met zeer uiteenlopende sferen en geluiden.
