about

Between the K7 « Symphonie pour la Terre & la Mer » (1985) and our first CD, « Escales » (1990), we renewed a great part of our material. New types of synthesizers, new sequencers and effects, another mixer, a Tascam 8 tracks and our first synthetic conductor (an Atari 1040 ST). We also had a new room to install everything correctly.
Begin 1989, the music for Escales was ready. We decided to play it in June during a concert in Strombeek in order to see how the audience would react. And they enjoyed it much more than we expected. To be honest, we were very excited too. We have never forgotten this crazy evening. The songs of our future CD and our energetic improvisations proved to be a medley full of enthusiasm on both sides of the concert hall.
After Escales, a long silence fell. At least for our public. But we still played … and our true style evolved. Ten years later “Beyond the Score”, one of our favorite productions came out. A CD that aroused little interest. But it was not enough to end our story …
